The <strong>Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE International)<\/strong>, Western Venezuela Section, extended a special invitation to our Director to present the Distinguished Lecture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u00abFlow Unit Characterization Based on Reservoir Rock Quality and Producible Fluid Saturation\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This event was not only an opportunity to share knowledge but also a space to debate current challenges in hydrocarbon production optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator aligncenter has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd0d The Challenge: Beyond Conventional Petrophysics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The definition of <strong>Flow Units<\/strong> is one of the most complex and critical pillars in reservoir engineering.
